Vacature Finance Consultant
EMEA Public has a vacancy for a Finance Controller on the ProSupport and Software and Peripherals lines of business.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Partner to Sales Senior Manager
- Provide finance leadership, support and challenge to the BU annual planning and forecasting process
- Work closely with marketing and sales leaders to understand the business by country and by product
- Provide support and challenge to business unit headcount requests to support the plan ensuring affordability of the headcount requests within the business unit P&L
- Provide finance oversight of the in-quarter outlooks and work closely with sales management, solutions and marketing to understand risks and upsides to the sales roll-up
- Work with sales on a daily basis to manage revenue and margin in bookings and develop actions to correct variances to forecast
- Work closely with sales management on development of account plans and review of account profitability
- Ensure that sales quotas are correctly set to drive the business to deliver goals and manage commission payouts
2. P&L Management and Drive, Risk Analysis and Mitigation
- During quarter analyze actual results against planned P&L and propose actions to correct to SM
- Ensure all relevant information is passed to accounting at the end of the quarter to enable them to correctly close the books and to make appropriate decisions on revenue recognition entries
3. Compliance

In co-operation with the Business Compliance Manager, ensure Dell's internal controls are in place in the business and that there are adequate procedures and processes within the organization to maintain a strong control environment.
- Respond to Internal or External Audit queries in a timely manner.
4. Finance Department
- Support initiatives led by the EMEA Public finance team.
- Responsible for reporting on BU performance and providing timely and accurate interpretation of results and risks and opportunities for the future
- Responsible for guiding decision making on future direction of the business and highlighting financial impact of proposed strategies.
- The successful candidate will have worked in a commercially focused finance role within a multinational company for a minimum of 5 years.
- Must be fluent in business English (written and oral) and be able to work in fast paced international organization.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA or French Business School (ESC) with major in Finance.
- Ideally the candidate should have experience of leading and coordinating a team which does not report directly to him/her
- Should be highly skilled in Excel and Powerpoint.
